Storm Fitness hires only the best personal trainers. We search for experienced, certified, responsible, enthusiastic personal trainers who have expertise with strength training, cardiovascular training, nutrition, flexibility, post rehabilitation and other areas in general fitness.  It is our goal to give you customized personal training sessions tailored to your unique needs as a client.  We don't believe in cookie-cutter workouts for our clients - after your initial consultation, your personal trainer will create a workout unique to your needs and goals. 

Being overweight growing up, I understand what it is like to be uncomfortable in your body.  After years of unsuccessful starvation and fad diets, strength training truly changed my body, boosted my confidence and was a great mental and physical workout. My personal workout style is to get you sweaty - we'll do plyometrics, high intensity bodyweight and strength training and more.  It really depends on your goals as a client. I want to help you change, challenge yourself and gain control of your body.  My motto? It doesn't get easier - you get better.

Training gives me an opportunity to help others achieve their health and fitness goals while feeling their best.  I approach every client with a fresh look - I want to create individualized plans based on each clients needs.  For me, a workout should be fun and challenging.  I believe that training doesn't stop when the workout is over - I work with my clients on a natural approach to nutrition and help them make small changes that can have a big impact over time.  It's important to give my clients tools that allow them to build healthy habits and incorporate these changes into their lives.

I love to work with people of all ages.  In my ten plus years experience, I love to make my clients feel good about themselves and meet their goals.  For me, this is the biggest reward of being a trainer.  My workouts are a mix of resistance training, strength training and athletic drills.  I always find time in a workout to work on mobility through foam rolling and stretching.  Without proper mobility, it's hard to achieve your best work in a session.  When I'm not training, I am an avid runner and love attending concerts.  I also collect vinyl.

I take pride in the fact that I'm not a drill sergeant and listen to what works for my clients in the moment. I want to truly see a positive impact in my clients' lives - I'm a fitness expert, nutritionist, therapist, confidant and friend to my clients. Watching my clients become stronger and healthier, giving them a foundation for a lifetime of healthy living, is a huge part of my role as a trainer.  I've helped clients recover from hip and back surgeries, lose inches and get stronger - and I am so proud of each one! I look for my clients to have small consistent wins, a fitting complement to my motto: get in, get fit, get on with life.

I love helping my clients feel better in their bodies, whether it's minimizing pain, creating strong musculature, or aesthetic.  I love to show people that it is possible to enjoy the process of getting in shape and finding their new, more fit, normal.  Training sessions with me are a balance of strength training, flexibility training and recovery work.  I focus on functional movement patterns and correcting weaknesses in the kinetic chain.  My specialties include pre and post natal training, nutritional meal planning and prepping, strength training and corrective exercise.

I was diagnosed with mental health issues at a very young age and use exercise as a means to reduce anxiety and depression.  While battling health issues back in 2014, I found solace in yoga and weight training.  I became so passionate about the tools I was learning, I quit my government job to pursue a career in the wellness industry.  I take a whole individual approach with my clients - I look at their entire lifestyle and decide which methods of exercise and routines will be best for individual success.  I specialize in yoga therapy, circuit and weight training, and HIIT.   I have experience working with and training all ages - kids, teens, adults and seniors.

As a young adult, I struggled with body image issues.  I had to learn to accept my imperfection and embrace both moderation and hard work in all aspects of my life. As I've grown from a collegiate athlete to a middle aged woman, I find my interests and abilities changing. I love working with my clients around life's obstacles and finding the best form of wellness at any and all stages of life.  I am overjoyed at having the privilege of witnessing someone take control of their own wellness and adopt forever lifestyles!  My motto? Moderation is key in all aspects of life!

I recently moved to Vienna, Virginia from Dubai, but I was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland.  I love inspiring my clients to live vibrant, healthy lives.  As a trainer I have the opportunity to influence and help my clients make positive changes.  I love to watch them thrive - one of my biggest training accomplishments is seeing my clients propel themselves to new levels of fit and watching that transform into a lifestyle.  My workouts are always unique to each clients' needs, focusing on empowering them and maximizing functional ability.   I take a holistic approach - proper nutritional intake and a practical fitness routine are key for my clients.

I believe that physical and mental health are deeply connected, and training gives me the opportunity to directly impact my clients' well being.  My workout style is very core intensive and interval focused.  I strive to create a body positive and non-judgmental environment for my clients to train in.  I want my clients to make health and fitness a regular part of their routine by making each workout enjoyable.  My motto is "getting fit doesn't have to suck" and I really want my clients to love their time with me.

As an overweight child and teenager, I struggled with eating healthy.  In my late teens, I became serious about getting to a healthy weight.  Because of this, I can empathize with my clients who have similar struggles.  I listen and encourage my clients on their journey and offer practical strategies for every day healthy living.  I love strength training and HIIT workouts and their efficiency.  My workouts also incorporate stretching and mobility work, which is super important to maintain as we age.  Giving my clients that same feeling of power and energy is something I love.

I believe that even when you're dragging and have zero energy, do some sort of exercise.  You WILL feel better.  I love making my clients feel better emotionally and physically through the personal training process.  I specialize in pre and post natal workouts, injury prevention HIIT, strength and conditioning, but work with a variety of clients.  My workouts are normally a combination of low impact low stress movements to high intensity intervals and athletic training.  When I'm not training, I love to create new and healthy recipes my entire family will enjoy.

Training brings me joy because there is no better reward than assisting someone in climbing a mountain they didn't think was possible. I believe there is no growth in the comfort zone, so I love to push my clients - I even assisted a senior citizen with a low fitness level to finish a full marathon! My specialties are identifying muscular imbalances that hinder daily or normal activity, restoring functionality, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, weight loss and sports performance.  When I'm not training I compete in strongman competitions

I have two kids - and it took a ton of work to rehabilitate my core after giving birth. My abdominal muscles had split resulting in a condition called Diastasis Recti. Despite being told that only surgery could repair the damage, I studied and was able to heal my injury and have a flat belly again! This process inspired me to become a Personal Trainer. I love to inspire my clients through strength training but also inspire them to fill their bodies with nutritious food. My workouts are a combination of cardio with an emphasis on strength training.  My motto? EAT REAL FOOD!

I found my love for fitness and started working in the industry in 2010 while I was pursuing my BA in International Affairs at GWU. I am a certified ACE trainer and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. Most of my experience comes from working with a wide demographic, ranging from competitive olympic lifting athletes to post-rehab clients. Whether the focus is strength or mobility oriented, I always look forward to providing clients with the foundation and first steps toward their goals.

Growing up, I was always the chubby one in my family.  After two knee surgeries, I found myself over 200 pounds and at a low point, so I decided to make a change and invest in my health.  I began boxing and losing weight, and more than a decade later, I am proud to say I kept the weight off.   Now, I work with clients to make that same investment in themselves.  My workout style is a mixture of circuit training with a mixture of kick boxing for stress relief.  I love seeing progression in my clients and seeing them accomplish things they never thought was possible.  For me, the goal is progression, not perfection.
