The official ARMS website has now been updated with a number of interesting details including the multiplayer beta and a beta schedule. The multiplayer beta is scheduled to kick off in just under a month. The beta is slated to run from August 26 to 31 and will be hosted on the servers located in Vancouver, Canada. During this beta period, the team behind ARMS is planning to test out a number of gameplay elements, including the arena and music modes, the ability to use both ARMS and Mii arms, various modes, online versus, leaderboards, and more. Some ARMS beta players will also be able to wear Mii costumes while playing the game. As the official ARMS website states: "All attendees of the beta event will be able to customize their Mii avatar, and the ARMS characters will also take on various new costumes during the event." Alongside the multiplayer beta, an ARMS beta schedule has been revealed. ARMS players will be able to take part in the beta every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from August 26 to September 7. During the Monday beta, players can expect to play with other ARMS beta players and have access to ARMS' standard difficulty settings. The Wednesday and Friday beta will allow for "early access" to ARMS' more challenging difficulty settings, which include hard and hell. Anyone who wants to play ARMS during the early access phase will be granted an access code to redeem from the official website. Players who were able to snag a code to the ARMS demo earlier this year will have access to the latest version of the game on its first day of availability. In case you missed out on the ARMS demo, don't worry. It's coming back. Nintendo is planning to release an open beta of the game later this year. The open beta will be available for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. ARMS is also coming to the Nintendo Switch. However, the game will launch on the system without online play support.
