Now, since this article is about the Big Reveal I thought it would be pertinent to share with you a big reveal about a Storm Fitness client that just occurred last week….
Our client Kiki (no, that is not her real name, but it is the nickname that all of her friends call her), was gearing up for a big reunion that she was having with some former college classmates in upstate New York. She had not seen them in over 20 years. It was the motivation she needed to make a change in her life.
Kiki had been fit back in college and was a former soccer player, but life got the best of her when she graduated and became full time at a prestigious law firm in DC. She then had her first child and began working part time – trying to balance it all, she never quite lost all of the baby weight. Then, her second baby came – she put on 20 lbs more than when she had her first child and with that never got the full 60 lbs off that she had gained.
Kiki came to us 4 months ago because she felt down and out. She now had 30 lbs of weight on her small 5’2 frame and felt terrible about herself. Being a former athlete back in the day she felt she had truly let herself go and lost herself while trying to juggle life between family and work. Now, 4 months later Kiki has lost 26 of the 30 lbs and dropped down to a size 2 dress size. She has nice lean muscle, is eating right and feeling confident again – not to mention she is super charged for meeting up with her former classmates.
Kiki trains with a member of the Storm Fitness team and sent me the most flattering email. When I asked for permission to share her story she happily obliged. Thank you Kiki for sharing your story with others – it shows it’s never too late to go after your goals and dreams. You can do anything you put your mind and heart to, you just have to really and truly want it deep down inside.
