Meet Jessica Storm

Lead trainer and owner of Storm Fitness

With over 20 years' experience, Jessica understands that fitness isn't just in the gym - she prides herself on a holistic approach to fitness, transforming both mind and body of her clients.  Not only is each client's needs different but needs within individual training sessions can vary.  Her style of training is always creative and fun – a typical workout could include trampoline work, boxing, or snuggle sessions with her two Australian Shepherds, Leo and Taylor.

Jessica loves to push people past where they think they are mentally and physically able. One of her fitness passions includes working with adaptive athletes, people coming back from injuries and seniors who are afraid to exercise because it allows her to help them achieve goals they never thought possible. Watching her clients gain control of their bodies and gain confidence in their abilities, physical limitations and injuries is what Jessica considers her biggest training accomplishment.

Personalized fitness

Every detail of a clients in home personal training program is custom and unique to you.  Your goals are unique, so your training should be tailored to hit those goals in a way that matches your fitness level and lifestyle. Personal training with Storm Fitness starts with fitness assessments and goal setting. Our in home personal trainers will perform measurements and provide you with body fat percentage at your request. We will also test your muscular endurance & flexibility. This sets a base line we can use to create a unique plan to get you on the right track towards your fitness goals.

Our trainers use a combination of strength training and cardiovascular training, depending on your skill level and needs, to help you reach your fitness goals. We will work with you to establish goals and a timeline for you to start seeing results that are measured against your base line stats. 

Customized nutrition

Our Storm Fitness team will work with you to create a nutrition plan in line with your fitness goals that suits your lifestyle. Not into cooking? Dietary restrictions? Food allergies? Special needs in the kitchen? No problem. Our personal trainers will work with you to create custom nutritional plans that suit your needs and will even offer alternatives to a traditional meal plan from mail order meals, meal replacements to personal chefs.

Fitness goals go beyond the gym. Our team understands that transforming your body fully needs a transformation in the kitchen, too. Our nutritional services start similarly to our fitness goal assessment, with a diet analysis, discussion of your eating and cooking habits, and where you want to see changes. Our team will discuss your habits and ways you can make changes to improve your overall health and well being.  Our in home personal trainers can perform measurements and body fat percentage for accurate tracking at your request. Everything about your fitness and nutrition program will be totally customized to your unique needs.

We specialize in working with people who need a little more attention and care.  We know the exact exercises to keep our clients feeling strong and healthy and to help get them back on track if they are coming out or rehab, are new to exercise or looking to take their fitness routine to the next level.  We take great care in our clients form and technique and make sure to build a strong foundation before progressing.  Our trainers also have exceptional expertise in foam rolling and assisted stretching techniques.  Balance, posture and stability exercises are increasingly important to work on as we age.
