Jessica
Storm graduated from Union College in upstate New York with a
biology/pre-med degree. She started her career with a world-wide
consulting leader, Accenture, where she worked on projects for
large corporations such as Pfizer. Jessica later left Accenture
to be a Project Manager for an internet start-up company. After
just two years with the start-up, Jessica was beginning to realize
that she needed to go back to her roots and explore her passion
for physical fitness. Soon after, Jessica took a big risk and
resigned from her high profile position to dedicate herself to
her true calling, personal training.
Having been
a collegiate athlete with an extensive running background (16+years
mid to long distance running and 6 years of program design; marathon
runner with a personal best of 3:08) and part time trainer,
Jessica was immediately offered a position at the prestigious
personal training facility, Definitions in New York City. During
her time there, with enthusiasm and dedication, she trained a
diverse range of clients from stay-at home moms, business executives,
holly-wood stars, professional athletes and rehabilitation patients.
Jessica worked with clients of all ages, ranging from 10 to age
88. She spent years gearing fitness programs towards their individual
needs, showing them the proper exercises they should be doing
for their body, lifestyle and goals and giving them the power
and knowledge to lead a healthier and happier life through exercise.
In March of
2003 Jessica made the move to the Northern Virginia area seeking
more space and more trees. It made perfect sense for Jessica to
take the opportunity to combine her love of physical fitness,
business skills and her dream of becoming an entrepreneur to start
up her own personal training company. After spending much time
working for other personal training studios, Jessica understood
the type of superior service and high quality training people
were seeking and that she was capable of delivering. She wanted
to start a company that would provide to people what other gyms
and studios seemed to be lacking.
Jessica's
dream was to provide her clients with a top-notch training service
found no where else, the kind of service that delivered world
class trainers and techniques along with great personality, high-class
customer service and FUN. In April of 2003, born from Jessica's
dream, Storm Fitness, LLC opened its doors. Today, Storm Fitness
is a renowned personal training company with exclusive training
styles and techniques. Hundreds of clients have since trained

| Christine McKenna, ACSM
Certified Personal Trainer
Christine graduated from Springfield College with a B.S in Exercise Science and a Minor in Business Management. She is certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Christine moved to Northern VA to train high school and college aged athletes. She led groups to improve their speed, agility, and quickness through various sport specific drills. She then moved into the corporate world of sales where she excelled and earned President’s Club status within her first year. She began to realize she missed her true passion, helping individuals meet their fitness goals.
Her experience includes training highly skilled athletes to individuals who have little to no experience in the gym.
She has been involved with sports since she was a young child. Which include: basketball and softball. Within the last two years she has competed in sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman triathlon distances.
She enjoys helping her clients achieve THEIR goals and showing people that fitness can be fun. She believes in fitness as a lifestyle and life long commitment. She strives to make each work out unique to her clients and their specific goals.
Christine H. Haas, Licensed Nutritionist in VA, MD and DC
Christine Haas, M.S., C.N.S., C.P.T. is a licensed nutritionist in Maryland
and Washington DC certified through the American College of Nutrition. Christine holds a number of fitness and nutrition
certifications, including The Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association.
Christine has also received a Masters of Science Degree in Health and Fitness from The American University in Washington
D.C. and a Masters Degree in Nutrition Education from The University of Vermont.
Christine worked as the nutritionist and as a personal trainer at The Sports Club L.A. in Washington D.C. as a nutritionist
for Medifast at corporate headquarters in Owings Mills MD and as an adjunct professor of nutrition at Montgomery College.
Christine is currently the nutritionist for the Watergate and Burke Allergy and Asthma Centers, the fitness coordinator
and a nutritionist for the Center of Obesity Surgery in Washington DC.
Luis Figueroa, Personal Trainer/ Massage Therapist
Since his early years,
Luis has been deeply involved in athletics. Upon graduating from high school
he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. It was there that Luis really began to
sense his true passion for health and fitness. After 7 years of service in
the Marine Corp he volunteered with local youth sports team, but he always
felt that he had even more to share and offer. Luis decided to follow his
true passion and enrolled in a College dedicated solely to teaching Personal
Training and Therapeutic Massage. Luis has worked with a wide range of
clients from youths looking to get ready for their sport season to clients
looking to get into the best shape of their lives. He has been successful
with all of them and is known for his highly, creative, fun and intense
workouts that keep his clients coming back for more. Luis is known to
always over-deliver in this training programs leaving his clients with
nothing but rave reviews. Luis believes that what set's him apart from
the rest is his ability to meld his passion for helping others and his
military background into a training program for his clients that makes
their fitness goals a reality.
Sara Lewis, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Sara Lewis began her career in fitness while attending Virginia Tech
where she obtained a B.S. in Exercise and Health Promotion. She has over 7 years experience in corporate and commercial
fitness centers and also enjoys teaching group fitness classes. Currently, she is the Fitness Coordinator at Georgetown
University in Washington, DC and a Personal Trainer. Sara works closely with her clients to ensure proper technique so
that all muscles work in harmony with each other. She is a certified Group Exercise Instructor through the American Council
on Exercise and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, a Health Fitness Instructor through the American College of
Sports Medicine, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Denise J. Feil, Registered Dietician, NSPA
Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutritionist in the State
of Virginia
After receiving
her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Nutrition and
Dietetics from the University of Delaware, Denise completed
a Dietetic Internship Graduate Program that gave her real-world
experience in developing nutrition plans. Further work with
Duke University's Medical Center, the Eugene DuPont Preventative
Medicine and Rehab Institute gave Denise additional background
and experience in her chosen field. Over the past decade, Denise
has also worked with the American Heart Association, the Pike
Creek Fitness Center and the Tyson's Sport and Health Club in
Fairfax, VA. Denise enjoys her work most of all but she also
likes to spend time traveling, cooking, practicing yoga and
strength training. Denise is a member of the Dietetic Association
and she serves on the Executive Board of the Northern Virginia
Dietetic Association.
Pete Bua - NASM Certified
Personal Trainer
Pete graduated from Radford University with a BS in Exercise
Science and is certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports
Medicine). His fitness background includes one on one personal
training to clients ranging from 24-60. Pete has also worked
with children (athletes and non-athletes) ranging from ages
7-18. Pete has been working out regularly on his own for the
last 10 years and is always anxious to teach the abundant amount
of information he knows to someone new. In addition to being
a fabulous instructor, Pete is also an amateur bodybuilder and
has been featured on bodybuilding.com. Pete most enjoys training
clients who are serious about getting into shape and leading
a healthy lifestyle. His clients should expect someone who is
going to help them with all aspects of fitness. He will not
just limit himself to getting you in shape; it is also his passion
to help you feel better about yourself physically and mentally.
He will help his clients make fitness a lifestyle and is willing
to go the extra step with them to make that transition as easy
as possible.

Christine is an outstanding trainer!
In addition to be being an athlete she is also a superb person. Christine has an upbeat
personality and a positive approach to fitness. I have enjoyed each new training session
more than the previous session because she mixes a lot of different exercises in to keep
things fun and it never gets boring. Her attitude is excellent and I can tell when she
customizes the program on the fly based on how I am progressing - that is a huge aspect
of her style that I really like. With these workouts over the past 3 weeks now, my daily
energy has gone way up and I am feeling great! This has really changed my life and its even
better having such a great trainer and nice person coaching me through it. Christine puts
great effort and care into each session and she is very patient. She is a fast thinker and

When I first contacted Storm Fitness last April, 2007,
I was 52, out of shape and at a turning point in my life. I discovered my cholesterol had climbed to 245
and my doctor wanted me to go on cholesterol-lowering medication. Although my eating has always been fairly
healthy, I have struggled with my weight all my life, I obviously was making the wrong choices both with diet
and exercise. My doctor agreed to give me six months to try to get a handle on things and then be retested.
I didn't want to take medication for something I could possibly manage myself. I consulted with a nutritionist
and found Storm Fitness on-line. I liked what I read on the website and took a leap of faith...I couldn't be
happier with the leap! I needed help with achieving my goals and Christine McKenna has been the key to my success!
Christine knows how hard to push and when encouragement is needed. She is careful to ensure I use the proper
form to get the most benefit from the exercise and to prevent injury. She taught me how to use our equipment
safely and effectively and introduced me to equipment I never considered such as a Bosu ball and even paper
plates (she's very creative)-the workouts are fun and never boring. Since meeting Christine last April, my
life has changed dramatically! I am amazed with the results I achieved by simply making changes to my diet,
working out with Christine twice a week, and walking 30 minutes daily. I am very happy to say that in
November, 2007, my cholesterol was retested and I have brought it down to 188 (no medication needed)! I
lost 25 lbs. and I couldn't be happier...no more aches and pains, I feel terrific and I am making much

Luis Figueroa
I've been working with Luis for 3 months and am pleased with the process
and the results. I decided to begin working with a personal trainer
after starting and stopping an exercise regimen on my own a few times.
I was ready to shed some pounds, get back into shape and do it in a way
that was sustainable. Since I wasn't making great progress on my own I
decided to inject more discipline and support and took the leap to work

Luis has a great attitude, is easy to work with and keeps my workouts
