Lauren’s background is in personal training and group exercise. She uses a variety of modalities and training techniques to help clients achieve results. Her specialties include total body strength training, circuit routines & high intensity interval training.
She has instructed a variety of classes: Bootcamp, Cardio Kickboxing, Total Gym, Kettlebell and Yoga.
Lauren designs programs based on a client’s individual physical assessment, background and goals to ensure every workout and the overall personal training experience is effective, rewarding and enjoyable. She works with a wide variety of clients, including teens, athletes, senior citizens and those with chronic health conditions or physical limitations.
Lauren graduated with an Honors Degree from the University of Virginia, after which she spent three years in the world of corporate training. However, her passion has always been in exercise and nutrition. Therefore, she combined her love of fitness with her skill sets of communication and training.
Having lost a significant amount of weight as a child, Lauren understands the importance of balancing exercise and nutrition in your daily life. Whether you are looking to lose weight, improve your one rep max or simply tone and maintain, Lauren will work tirelessly to help motivate, energize, push and be a resource for you.
Lauren believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to getting fit and this is where her passion and expertise come into play. She has a comprehensive and customized approach to starting & maintaining a healthy lifestyle for all of her clients.
