Bev is also known as “The Machine” by her friends for her non-stop energy level and work hard, play hard mantra. She grew up in a non-athletic family and got into fitness later in life, fully embracing it. While she once thought about fitness more as a way to stay slim, the pivotal change for Bev came when she realized instead that it’s about being STRONG.
Bev never considers it “working out,” but truly believes it’s training for a vibrant life. Her enthusiasm for health and wellness is contagious, and she is completely committed to helping others understand their capabilities by inspiring confidence and guiding them toward reaching their goals.
Bev was a military kid and moved all over the U.S. and abroad, and believes she can make an instant connection with almost everyone. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at George Washington University and her Master of Arts in Communication Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and puts the power of communication into play to encourage and motivate. After many years in the corporate world, she is now pursuing her true passion.
Bev loves the variety in a wide spectrum of fitness modalities, everything from strength training to yoga to kickboxing and more. She has trained with some of the area’s most prominent fitness instructors and is grateful to have completely transformed her life. She is an advocate of a strong mind/body connection, injury prevention, and plentiful nutrition to effectively fuel for performance.
She lives in Lansdowne with her husband of 21 years and their two Yorkies.
